Who We Are
LeadingAge Nebraska is a State Association of not-for-profit organizations dedicated to expanding the world of possibilities for aging. We advocate for and educate our member facilities so they can serve our State’s seniors and enable them to live fully as they age. Our fundamental purpose continues to be that of improving the care and services provided to older Nebraskans.
There is a difference between not-for-profit and for-profit facilities and services, and it goes directly to their reason for our existence. Our member homes and services exist for one reason only, to provide quality services to their residents in a loving, caring, and supportive setting.

LeadingAge Nebraska History
When it comes to aging services, Nebraska’s not-for-profit organizations are known leaders in providing older adults with quality living options, flexibility and innovation, excellent care if needed and that they can trust. Our new name, LeadingAge Nebraska was taken on with our National organization, LeadingAge, that was looking for a name that redefined our identity and reflected the Association’s aspirations for the 21st century and beyond.

LeadingAge offers a strong and distinct voice for our not-for-profit members as we strive to expand the word of possibilities for aging. Working together, we lead in innovative practices that transform how we serve our aging population, cutting-edge initiatives to develop services that meet older adults’ needs and preferences and advocacy to advance the interest of the aging consumer.
