 Julie is responsible for the overall management of the association including the development and implementation of its strategic vision, supporting programs and alignment of staff and financial resources.  She works to identify opportunities, threats, interests, needs and concerns of members and develops and directs resources to address these needs. Julie works in concert with the LeadingAge Nebraska’s Board of Directors  to establish and frame the association’s strategic direction, political advocacy agenda and works to ensure the board is informed of relevant environmental trends and challenges to help position members for success in this dynamic health care field.

As the Director of Professional Development Cheryl is responsible for planning and coordinatimg the Professional Development Events for our Members.  This includes Spring and Fall Conferences, webinars and full-day workshops.  She prepares Member education-related communication materials and tools, and develops promotional materials for the association.   Cheryl works with the LeadingAge NE Education Committee & Executive Director – to ensure relevant education content.  In addition, Cheryl helps coordinate the Midwestern State Night Out in conjunction with LeadingAge National’s Annual Conference.

Melissa is an invaluable part of the team, and is responsible for assisting staff with administrative tasks ranging from educational events, webinars, board and committees, member relations, general office administration, technology , social media, and financial administrative support.  Melissa also handles event registration and maintains our website.
