Overview: It’s that time of year again! The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has posted changes to the nursing home MDS 3.0 that are scheduled to take effect October 1, 2018. MDS Version 1.16 is making its debut with a large number of changes in October 2018. This webinar will provide information on updates and instructions for completion. Content is appropriate for Nursing Home providers.

She is founder and president of Haffenreffer & Associates, Inc., an Oregon long term care consulting firm providing education and assistance with the implementation of quality systems and corporate compliance programs nationwide. In 2011, Demi assisted the Colorado Foundation for Medical Care with a CMS grant to publish the Model Program for Quality Performance called “QAPI.” Demi has taught workshops nationally and internationally and has authored five policy and procedure manuals. In addition, Demi is retained regularly by nationally known law firms as an expert on regulatory compliance issues.

Moving Mountains: SNF Provider Training, Tools and Insight to Conquer 2019 Industry Changes
All sessions held the first Wednesday of each month (except January 2019) at 1pm central/2pm eastern/11am pacific/12pm mountain time.
This webinar series will guide providers in implementing a step-wise action plan to manage the industry changes taking effect in 2019 including Phase 3 RoP (Requirements of Participation) and preparing for the reimbursement transition from Medicare PPS RUGs IV to the Patient Driven Payment Model (PDPM).
