Session 4—January 15th Advocacy in Action & Legislative Reception (in-person)
LeadingAge Nebraska Members are invited to our annual Advocacy in Action Day in Lincoln. We will have a short welcome meeting at 10:00 am followed by a tour of the capitol building. Members are encouraged to pre-arrange meetings with their senators and sit in on a hearing or session happening that day. Our reception will take place at the iconic Billy’s Restaurant, just steps from the capitol. You will be able to choose one or all of the following activities when you register:
- Advocates Gathering- welcome, light refreshments, sponsor engagement, review of meeting plans- 10:00 am at Jensen Rogert offices (625 S. 14th St. Ste A) and capitol tour for advocates at 11 am.
- Afternoon open for senator meetings, listening sessions, engagement
- Legislative Reception at Billy's Restaurant, 4:30-6:30 pm
