LeadingAge and state affiliates, like LeadingAge Nebraska are the trusted voice for aging. We welcome your organization to become part of the 5,500 nonprofit and mission-driven organizations that are improving the lives of older adults wherever they call home.
Your dues deliver membership in both Nebraska and the national association. You benefit from learning, connecting, and advocating with peers near you and across the nation. LeadingAge Nebraska Membership is open to any government, non-profit, or locally owned/operated organization providing care, housing, and/or services to older adults.

Membership Benefits
As a member of LeadingAge Nebraska, any employee of your organization can have access to our full array of benefits, including professional development, advocacy, technical assistance, group purchasing opportunities, networking and so much more! Members are afforded tall the rights and privileges at the state and national member of LeadingAge. LeadingAge Nebraska has three main purposes to our mission:
A team fighting for effective state and federal advocacy
Every day we leverage the power of 5,500+ provider members as we work to remove barriers to care and improve funding for the sector. With experts in Washington, DC, and in state capitals around the country, we’ve go the bench strength to drive real change.
Our goal is to provide advocacy for our members in the area of regulation, legislation, and other issues that impact our greatest asset, the older adults we serve. LeadingAge Nebraska works with all elected officials to advocate for the needs of our members and those they support. Protection of Medicaid and Medicare are of the utmost importance. LeadingAge Nebraska supports our membership to conduct grassroots advocacy to express their needs and advocate for what they need. We also work with a contracted lobbyist that works on behalf of LeadingAge Nebraska and our members to ensure our collective voices are heard.
Career-advancing education, leadership development, and events
Deepen your impact with free, exclusive, or discounted access to high-level professional development, including the LeadingAge Nebraska Annual Conference, in-person training events around the state, online learning, LeadingAge Annual Meeting, and Leadership Summit.
LeadingAge Nebraska provides continuing education on an ongoing basis. Members receive free, or reduced registration for all education activities. On a monthly basis, we provide members with free educational content during our Monthly Member Connection meetings, as well as multiple free member webinars per year. We provide timely training on topics that are important to our members. Many education opportunities include continuing education credit.
LeadingAge Nebraska offers:
- Nurse Aide certification through Avera Education and Training and provides approved state of Nebraska testing through a collaborative agreement between members
- Medication Aide certification through Avera Education and Training and provides approved state of Nebraska testing to members
- Member discounts for education with the American Association of Post-Acute Nursing
- Annual Spring Conference featuring over 15 hours of continuing education for all disciplines
- In-person education opportunities throughout the year
- Online webinars on a variety of topics

Members enjoy the opportunity to connect with leaders in all types of aging services. LeadingAge Nebraska provides opportunities throughout the year for social engagement. We often combine these social events surrounding our educational opportunities, so come and enjoy the fun! Each annual conference features st leadt two different social events.
