Advocacy and Public Policy

Advocating for Older Adults & Aging Services in Nebraska

LeadingAge Nebraska provides members with a strong voice in front of the Unicameral, DHHS, Government Officials and other policy representatives.

For-profit and not-for-profit facilities are frequently impacted differently by laws and regulations, from tax exemption to reimbursement. Not-for-profits need and deserve representation and advocacy which focuses on their special needs and interests, and that’s what LeadingAge Nebraska does. We contract with Kent Rogert of Jensen Rogert Associates, Inc. to provide lobbying services on behalf of LeadingAge Nebraska and our membership.

We invite you to become an advocate for the aging services industry by working at the grassroots level. You can make a difference by building relationships with your state and federal elected officials. Go ahead and get started ... click one of the links below to start your advocacy adventure!
