Building Robust Community Partnerships: A Recipe for Success
You know that strong community partnerships can expand your impact, strengthen your programs, and breathe new energy into your organization. Building and sustaining those partnerships may feel daunting. In this session, we'll give you the clarity, tools, and confidence to do it well.
Drawing on the experience of Virginia Mennonite Retirement Community, an organization widely recognized for cultivating dynamic volunteer engagement through meaningful community relationships, Emily Shickel, Volunteer Services Manager, will serve as your guide. With 15 years of hands-on experience developing both expected and unexpected partnerships, Emily will help you see what’s possible in your own work. NOTE: This webinar will be led by LeadingAge Virginia. Therefore all emails received from them will be shown in EST. Please adjust for your time zone (the webinar is 2-3 pm EST, 1-2 pm CST, and 12-1 pm MST).
Following this session, you will be able to:
- Advocate effectively for the resources, tools, and internal support needed to build and sustain strong community partnerships
- Collect, assess, and communicate partnership data and success stories that demonstrate value and deepen engagement
- Apply practical templates and tools to streamline partnership management, growth, and ongoing communication
- Design clear, thoughtful processes for both welcoming new partners and concluding partnerships in ways that create meaning and future possibility
