Preventing and Responding to Respiratory Infections and Outbreaks in Long-Term Care: Recording Now Available

Project Firstline from the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) hosted a webinar on January 27 on respiratory illnesses in long-term care. This webinar provided information on respiratory illness recognition, considerations for testing, treatment, and vaccination, and infection control measures. Nebraska Respiratory Outlook

Currently there are 5 facilities with an influenza outbreak impacting 18 residents and 15 facilities experiencing a COVID-19 outbreak impacting 95 residents. The respiratory risk has remained steady for the past several weeks and will likely continue.
