It has always been vital for aging services providers to be flexible and responsive to changing times as they serve the residents in their care. Responsiveness is just as vital on an organizational level, where an ever-changing social and regulatory environment is the norm.

LeadingAge Nebraska and the Nebraska Hospice & Palliative Care Association are partnering to host Andy Edeburn, a nationally-recognized expert on post-acute care and the senior services continuum. Andy will facilitate a day-long symposium discussing key trends, transformative impacts, and shifting perspectives and forces driving change for aging and senior services organizations across the continuum and related topics essential for aging and senior services leaders. We will be able to take time to focus on where we are, where we are going, and what we need to be doing about it.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER: Andy Edeburn is an accomplished healthcare advisor and thought leader with more than 20 years of healthcare consulting experience, specializing in acute, post-acute, and senior care services. Over the course of his career, he has advised more than 230 organizations in 43 states across a diverse range of issues. He is a nationally-recognized expert on post-acute care and the senior services continuum. Andy guides organizations through their strategic thinking and planning efforts, hospital/health system and community-based partnerships, care coordination and care management programs, community-based care models, new program and facility development/redevelopment efforts, and operational and performance improvement. Additional areas of expertise include communications strategy, acute/post-acute integration, provider network development, and managed care.

AUDIENCE: Post-acute healthcare board members, professionals and staff, including but not limited to assisted living, skilled nursing, hospice/palliative care, and home health agencies.
