Advocacy Update
Primary Election Preliminary Results: On Tuesday, Nebraskan’s took to the polls for the primary mid-term election. Up for grabs this year are 25 of the legislative seats (even numbered districts) as well as Governor, US Senate, and US House seats among others. For the full unofficial results, you can visit the Nebraska Secretary of State website for all the details. The Primary election is separated by party and designed to narrow the field to the top two contestants for the November election.
LeadingAge Nebraska will be in the process of connecting with the final contestants to discuss the needs of aging services providers across Nebraska. We invite you to participate in these meetings by inviting us and those running for an office in your district. You can also get involved with our advocacy efforts by providing a contribution to the Friends of LeadingAge Nebraska Political Action Committee.
