State Call with Nebraska Licensure

LAN held our joint associations call with DHHS licensure on Wednesday this week. For assisted living providers, reminders were provided regarding reporting of abuse and neglect. Surveys among assisted living providers are continuing. There have been reports that surveyors are holding providers accountable to higher regulations. If you feel this is occurring, you are welcome to reach out to Larissa. She did mention that all survey summaries are reviewed by a supervisor prior to being sent out.
