The requirements of participation from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) state that it is the responsibility of those engaged in Eldercare services to help each resident attain or maintain the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being. What is well-being? How can we meet this expectation from CMS? Well-being is the ultimate outcome we all seek in our lives and that does not change no matter what our life circumstances are like.
