Interim Studies of Interest

LR390 Hardin- Interim study to allow the health and human services committee of the legislature to examine health and human services issues within the jurisdiction of the committee that arise during the legislative interim period. 


LR404 Rountree- Interim study to examine Nebraska statues and the processed relating to the developmental disability and the aged and disabled waivers and the tools used to assess developmental disabilities. 


LR411 Riepe- Interim study to examine barriers affecting access to health care in Nebraska, with a particular, but not exclusive, focus on rural areas with specific attention to the role of transportation, distance, and other social and economic factors that affect timely care. 


LR413 DeBoer- Interim study to examine Nebraska statutes and processes relating to guardianship


LR426 Hardin- Interim study to examine the evolving pattern of management of health information


LR427 Riepe- Interim study to review the performance and policies of managed care organizations in the medical assistance program


LR435 Spivey- Interim study to examine appropriations relating to Nebraska’s program of all-inclusive care for elderly (PACE) under 42 U.S.C 139u-4


LR454 Hallstrom- Interim study to examine alternative funding sources for addressing the shortage of affordable and workforce housing in Nebraska


LR457 Hallstrom- Interim study to identify the barriers to multiple employer insurance plans


LR475 Anderson- Interim study to conduct a comprehensive review of state funding provided to nonprofit organizations


LR481 Bostar- Interim study to examine the fiscal and operational issues related to the addition of long-term care services and supports to the Medicaid managed care program
